Disturbing days

The last couple of days have been quite disturbing at work, purely for non-work, political reasons. Over a period of time, a group of people who I have considered my own over time, and to whom i have been personal advisor / counsellor for free are doing their level best to tarnish my reputation :)

This too shall pass or I should pass up the company of this group and keep it strictly official at work or maybe it’s time to move on to something else professionally. I do not have clear answers :)

    Hello Prabu,
If you plan to move somewhere, welcome to Investing which is the Pyramid top of the Food chain, followed by Business Owners and Employees.

Dude, investing is the best choice. Why work for them when you can make them work for you. :)

Office Friendship is often a mirage and is similar to Rail Sneham, esp. if it involves people from different cultural backgrounds, regular run of the middle class wage slaves, groups with no common interest other than making fun of mgmt, other groups etc. Sounds un-PC, but that’s been my experience. There have also been relationships that have outlasted companies. Paavam enna pannuvaanga, monthly emi commitments ivlo heavya irukkum bodhu, you can’t be thinking about friendship.

Thought i had replied you! sorry.

After all this bitter experience, i agree with your views. Office natpu except for some glorious exceptions are as as valuable as junk, penny stocks… constant back biting is the norm, and yes i agree the folks are united only to the extent of making fun of managers, neither do they anything constructively nor do they let others do.
