Facts amidst war

  • This country remains peaceful when the terrorists are busy preparing or when they are just plain taking rest.
  • Some parts of Mumbai, Old Delhi, Hyderabad, Malappuram, Bengaluru, Gulbarga, Uttar Pradesh, Coimbatore, Chennai, Tirunelveli and Ramnad districts are parts of India only in map.
  • There are stories about how Malappuram has its own telephone exchanges not run by Airtel or BSNL but by locals, and reports about movements in places like Dindigul where shops and businesses are sponsoring activities which ensures the young guys get 72 wives when they reach paradise dying for their religion.
  • All the attacks are being made by the Hindu groups and not by ‘appaavi muslims’, according to a tamil muslim blog.
  • The PM wants to teach a lesson to ISI, that is why they are planning to show the hard evidence collected so far, perhaps this will be a lesson for the ISI not to leave any such evidences when they carry out their next attacks next month.
  • Salutes to NSG, Army, Police, ATF, who are brave by profession. Royal salutes to the Taj Staff and Oberoi staff, father of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the husband and brother of Sabina, the Times of India editor who were brave beyond definition.
  • For now, it is of paramount importance that the ‘secular fabric’ of this nation has to be protected till it can be safely handed over to Al-Qaeda who are in the process of establishing an Islamic Empire which includes an Indian province.
  • I am a sleepless, disgusted Indian living in hopefully ‘Indian’ parts of the Indian city which can be accessed better by boats than by motor vehicles.

If a case can be made for torture of a human being, it is in this one, against the captured terrorist.

  2. Ram Says:

and pandering to the terror groups like they do in TN has it’s benefits, isn’t it? no attacks so far in Madras or TN. Or is that not a good thing?

    Ram

This post was more to record my anger for myself than anything else. i dont want to forget this.. and i believe i wont.

I think there is no attacks on Chennai or TN as yet because they have decided not to at this point.

    இந்தியாவின் எதிர்காலம் இப்பொழ்து கேள்வி குறியாகியுள்ளது.

I dont’ understand the logic of giving away the positions of commandos on the air ,there is no sense of self restraint even in extremely difficult situation.
National interest doesn’t matter only PRB ratings. Shameless pigs.

  5. Narayanan Says:

PK, Very well written. Was worried about a silence in your end ( Sorry for acting like a Dad :) ).

    I feel sad and angry.

I hope our politicians wake up and tighten the security and give freedom to the police and other agencies like Raw etc..and let them do their job without interferance.

With this exposure it’s very clear that India can be easily attacked !!!

That India can be easily attacked has been proven since time immemorial.
We would not let this mumbai attack and the 200 lives change that reputation.

That reputation is more important than all the lives of ordinary indian citizens!

  7. sundar narayanan Says:

after seeing the video in your latest post, I am doubly scared!

on the one hand we have these Saudi’s and their Jihadists
on the other hand we have the folks here in USA who pretty much want a crusade
somewhere in the middle of all this India is paying a heavy price.

    karthikeyan

    its both anger and helplessness!

    sundar,
as i mentioned over mail, i side more with the ideas of steven emerson and wafa sultan… unfortunately people of those calibre are outnumbered…

How can we wake up these politicians? Do we all still believe in Indian political system and who the hell gave permission to those dumb Indian channels to telecast “everything” from ground zero? After many sleepless nights and infuriating questions - I am still lost with no - NO answer in sight.

  11. prabukarthik Says:

    Poetry,

We cannot wake ‘em up. Its time we kicked some of them.
Coming to television channels, I agree they were business minded.

But as far as I see, neither the security forces nor the government issued any strict directives. In fact they directed the media to be in a particular place and cover the operation which kinda legitimatizes the whole thing.

And those TV coverages were one of the reason i was so agitated. I guess but for that, it would’ve been something akin to what happens in Kashmir. People would’ve switched channels to watch ‘Maanada Mayilaada’.

I maybe a bit off the mark but just a different perspective.

Somehow i don’t have the guts to watch something on TV and then criticize it.
