Tragic News

What was assumed to be a no-work minimal-work day turned out to be another Day-Nighter. Managed to came home at 11.

I got home to learn about a tragic news. Saravanan Ramasubramanian, 32 was killed by unidentified gunmen in Arlington, Texas on Saturday night. Seems Saravanan is well known among my family circles. Amma had come to know about this while watching Sun News. This death has sent shock waves among my family. Saravanan’s native place is Melur near Madurai. He had sustained gun shots in the head and in the abdomen.

There was even some inital level marriage alliance talks going on between Saravanan’s family and my cousin’s family.

My heart felt condolences to Saravanan’s family. What else can i do? I dont know. This is an unfair world. Sigh!

    Thanks to you..I heard this news.!! Did see it anywhere.!! No news channels covered it..Not sure about the local channels in Texas.

    Just spoke home abt him..He happens to be related to my family too..Scary indeed.
    Guess ,this is 3rd homicide against desis in Tx in past 4 mnts..

    மிக வேதனையான செய்தி. அமெரிக்கா போன்ற மேலை நாடுகளில் துப்பாக்கி கலாசாரம் சாதரணமானது போலும். என்ன சொல்லி என்ன, அனைவரும் இரண்டொரு நாட்களில் இதை மறந்து விடுவோம். வேதனை அவரது குடும்பத்தினருக்கு மட்டும் தான்.

    PK, amma also saw this news on Sun and was disturbed. She was able to feel the pain and loss of the guy’s mom since she told me that everytime I hear such news, I am worried about you and your brother. I didn’t know he was your relation. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

    I am very sorry to hear the tragic loss of Saravanan through vikatan published article. In it they had indicated that the parents didnt have a way to bring Saravanans body back to India.
