I don’t think Silicon Valley is possible is possibe in any other country. I don’t think Apple, Google, Microsoft could have survived in any other country. This is one country where a failure is not a failure at all. A failure is just an outcome accepted on some decision taken.
J - Junta
The spirit of the American citizen be it the way he fought Britishers 200 odd years ago or the way they handled 9/11 is inspiring. And the ability of the typical American to be in awe about anything from Kamasutra to Yoga is a testimony to their ability to learn and grow. Hail the American spirit.

Good observations about USA ! I am wondering why “adapting the positive, good traits of all countries” should make us “better”. I mean can’t we be better without comparisons ? I don’t know the answer to the above question but I believe in an affirmation.

You’ll have to excuse me about this:
Abundance - True to an extent but then the struggle to get kids thru colleges which is expensive here..makes one think otherwise. I see a lot of people struggle to meet ends ..when it comes to kids higher education. How much do we spend on a average to get a Engg. Doctor’s./ other degrees/Masters etc. Please compare it to the costs here.! I feel its expensive.
Law and order - Pardon me…I feel it is good. I can go to a COP and feel confident that he will help.! Can you do that in India.?

It depends on how you look at it. If we think we are humans with both good and bad, then we’ll be compelled to compare(as nature forces us to compare). If we think we are prefect, rather I should say we have something perfect within in us, irrespective of our ‘outward perfection’, then we’ll have no compulsion to compare. The later view will give us more self-confindence, but we should be in guard of our ego.
